Every fall, Cameron Winery gears up to sell the latest releases of its incredible Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Nebbiolo. But this year, they wondered if there might be an easier way: crowdfunding! Especially once they discovered the fine print that for many sites, you’re under no obligation to actually deliver the thing you’re raising money for.
Free money. No accountability! What could be better than that?
This was our third tongue-in-cheek film for Oregon’s most iconoclastic winery, and as always, it was a blast to collaborate with. John, Teri and Tom riffed, and we cut and shaped it, wrapping the film in a crowd-fundy interface that doubles as a sales tool for the vintage.
Because after all, giving them money is the best way to fund their dreams. Er… and yours!
